Hygeia Counseling Services and True Pet Connections were created with a shared mission to provide compassionate, accessible, and holistic mental health support that addresses both emotional wellness and the healing bond between people and animals. What began as a dedicated outpatient mental health practice has expanded into an integrated model of care that recognizes the importance of emotional connection, stability, and individualized support in the healing process.
Together, the practice offers a wide range of services designed to meet diverse client needs, including individual, couples, and family therapy, group counseling, trauma-informed care, substance use recovery support, clinical supervision, and professional consulting services. Through True Pet Connections, clients may also access Emotional Support Animal (ESA) evaluations and related guidance when clinically appropriate, helping individuals explore the therapeutic benefits of the human-animal bond as part of their overall wellness journey.
